Gemma Owen, Alex Scott and Lucy Mecklenburgh were among the stars braving the Saturday thunderstorms as they headed to day six of the Wimbledon Championship.

The former Love Island star, 20, cut a chic figure in a white pleated skirt as she joined her dad Michael at the famed ‘Middle Saturday’ of the sporting event.

Gemma teamed her stylish white look with a matching navy blue striped jumper knotted around her neck as she posed for snaps ahead of watching the tennis unfold.

Her dad put on a dapper display in a navy blue blazer and grey chino trousers as he posed alongside his daughter.

Gemma rose to prominence following an appearance on Love Island in 2022, and went onto sign a six-figure deal with PrettyLittleThing.

The Love Island runner-up was handpicked by the online retail giant following a series of meetings in Manchester with founder Umar Kamani, 34, and his close team.

Gemma is the first UK brand ambassador for PrettyLittleThing since they signed Love Island 2019 runner-up Molly-Mae, who is estimated to be worth an eye-watering £6million.

Meanwhile Alex cut a glamorous figure in an eye-catching brown halterneck dress with a matching cream handbag as she arrived at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.

The former England footballer pulled her braided tresses into a loose ponytail as she posed for snaps in her stylish look.

Former TOWIE star Lucy cut a sophisticated figure in a pretty white frilled midi dress with a crochet effect and cute capped sleeves.

She teamed her outfit with strapped white heels and a lilac handbag as she arrived at the tennis club with her fiancé Ryan Thomas.

Ted Lasso star Hannah Waddingham was perfectly dressed for summer in a gorgeous white lace dress with matching pointed-toe heels as she made her arrival.

The actress, who delighted fans with her Eurovision hosting stint in May, swept back her blonde tresses with a pretty printed headband.

Matches have been suspended across Wimbledon’s courts and tennis fans have been forced to take cover beneath umbrellas or huddle together in raincoats. A few brave fans remained sat in their seats.

The wet weather has also damped spirits at the third Ashes Test at Headingley.

The game is finely poised with Australia leading by 142 runs in their second innings, four wickets down after an England flurry last night.

The covers had come off in the morning but were out back on when the rain returned.

It comes after a disappointing day for the Brits at Wimbledon on Friday, which saw Andy Murray crash out of the tournament after a two-day thriller.

Momentum had been firmly on the side of the Briton, who was leading two sets to one before the 11pm curfew on Thursday evening, but the day’s break gave Tsitsipas a fresh run at the 36-year-old.

Murray was also the victim of an incorrect call at a crucial moment in the fourth set, which he opted not to challenge.

Tsitsipas held his serve, and was able to push the Brit to a tiebreaker, which the Greek won 7-3.

Murray’s defeat on Centre Court was one of a spate of British losses that saw all three men’s singles contenders knocked out of the competition in just over half an hour.

Cameron Norrie was outclassed by American prospect Christopher Eubanks, fresh off the back of his first-ever grass court tournament win in Mallorca, and Liam Broady was felled in four sets by number 26 seed Denis Shapovalov.

Broady had played a grueling five-set thriller against number four seed Casper Ruud the day before, but the wildcard was unable to extend his fairytale run in the face of a compelling challenge by the Canadian player.

British hopes will now focus solely on Katie Boulter in the singles’ contest.

The British number one will play defending champion Elena Rybakina on Centre Court in the last tie on Centre Court on Saturday afternoon.
